Position: Consultant

Position Description

• Provision of business consulting to Jobpac customers, including advice and guidance in business processes, industry best practice and specific company requirements.
• Provision of application consulting within the Jobpac application; related third party software interfaces to estimating, feasibility, document management, plant maintenance, planning and scheduling; and supplementary products such as Excel & SAP Business Objects.
• Provision of training to customers including identification and review of customer requirements, preparation of training materials and delivery.
• Account management from a consulting perspective for assigned customers, aimed at adding value.

Required Experience and Qualifications

• ERP Consulting Experience
• Strong fundamental accounting skills; displaying a high degree of competency in the core areas of accounting and associated business processes including cost accounting, general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, GST, inter-company accounting, payroll accounting
• Ability to 'source' billable productive time with customers independently
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to adapt to working in a diverse customer base (size, turnover, industry sector, proficiency etc.)
• Ability to build professional customer relationships
• Relevant technical skills including implementation and use of reporting tools such as SAP Business Objects, experience with integrated software systems and associated databases (incluidng the ability to understand and query databases)
• Display a keen sense of delivering high quality customer services
• Preparedness to travel interstate/overseas from time to time (up to 80%)

Desirable but not Essential Qualifications

• CA/CPA
• IT related tertiary qualification
• Accounting/business related tertiary qualification
• Construction/Engineering industry experience
