Comprehensive data is maintained per Asset including valuations, technical data, registrations and meter readings. All Assets are grouped into a five part classification structure that supports efficient processing, reporting and enquiry.
Monthly Depreciation transactions are maintained per Asset to allow for accurate reporting and reconciliation of related General Ledger records. Book and Tax positions are available. Additions and Disposals are automatically processed.
Operating Leased Assets which are viewed as expense commitments and have no entry on the balance sheet have Lease Profiles maintained and Payment Schedules produced. Monthly transactions are maintained per Asset of payments.
Profiles of Financed Leased Assets are maintained with integration to Payment Schedules, Amortisation, Future commitments, Acquisitions and Transfers to capitalised Assets. The Statutory and Tax timing differences are recognised.
Monthly Hire charges for Plant and Computers, and Costs for all Assets are calculated and applied to Internal Projects and Departments. Individual Projects can access their own Billing Reports and obtain historical and current information about the Assets on their Jobs. Delivery and Return Dockets enable Asset tracking by Plant Yard and Project. Common Assets i.e. multiple Assets under one Number are catered for.
Costs to Assets
Purchase Orders, Invoices and Journals can be linked either to an Asset or to a Job or Department.
